DFW Airport Terminal Grease Interceptor Systems

- CLIENT: DFW AIRPORT
- MARKET: AVIATION
- SERVICES: RENOVATION
- CONTRACT VALUE: $4.4 MILLION
DFW Airport identified that the Grease Interceptor System needed replacement in existing terminals A,B,C, and E. The existing system, which had 420 drain locations serving mostly concessions, was removed. The grease interceptors were relocated to landside in landscaping burms with new piping for the entire system. All exposed piping under the terminal concourse was heat traced with appropriate electrical connections. This was a one-year phased project of construction, requiring maintaining airline operations and coordinating with all affected airlines in this major air traffic hub.
