The La Bodega Winery located in Terminal D of DFW Airport is an actual operating winery producing wine on the premises. Although the supply is limited, this wine is augmented by production at the owner’s winery in Grapevine. The serving bar has a black granite top with richly paneled millwork that coordinates with the wooden display casework. The gates into the winery are custom designed with serpentine grapevines and clusters of grapes, interpreted in a distressed silver metallic finish. The Parisian-style café seating area is also enclosed by verdigris metal fencing. Mottled split slate and stainless steel cover the exterior, which features a trellis awning and stained glass accents.
