At 1,500 square feet, Southwest News in Terminal D was the largest newsstand at DFW Airport upon the opening of Terminal D. The store includes news-related products as well as books, magazines, sundries, and gift items. The store focus was the extensive cashwrap with a ceiling-supported Texas Star. A coffee/tea shop serves pastries and has a seating area for patrons as an added amenity. Austin limestone is featured on the exterior together with sliding glass panels and dramatic signage.
